Dog Repellent 

A dog repellent (canine pepper spray) is a must have for campers, walkers, joggers, trail hikers or delivery people. If you enjoy spending time outdoors enjoying nature, it's smart to have little protection against wildlife. Wild dogs have become a real problem in both urban and rural environments. Some of the dogs may have been pets at one time, but more and more are being born as non-domesticated. The CDC claims that dogs bite nearly 5 million people in the U.S. every year with over 800,000 victims needing immediate medical attention. Dogs run in packs by nature and they attack in packs. Teaching your children how to act and what to do if there is a potential dog attack may save their life or serious injury. Small children should never be out of sight or reach for that matter. However, your kids playing in an unfenced yard can be at risk. Vicious or wild dogs perceive young children as easy targets. The child is relatively small with rapid movements and make noises that can be threatening to a dog. Teach your kids to calm down and never approach a strange dog or animal. A dog on a leash can be dangerous as well because it feels somewhat constrained and becomes self-protective.

Abandoned and unwanted dogs are the main problem when it comes to dog attacks in urban areas. A dog that has been abandoned or is unwanted usually has to scavenge to stay alive. Abandoned and neglected dogs will join together in packs for protection and breeding. The more dogs there are in a pack the more dangerous they become. Dog packs are more likely to attack than a single dog as they understand the safety in numbers concept.
